The role:

You’ll join a growing design team with expertise in UX and UI design, Interaction design, UX research and crafting beautiful, engaging products with features, functionality and experiences that surprise and delight at every turn.


You will have direct support and guidance from our Head of Design, CTO and data scientists as you seek to create true, user-centred design solutions.


You’re the kind of person that really wants to get into the minds of our users and you will play an active part on defining who they are, what their needs are and how to map their end-to-end user journey as well as helping determine OKRs that benchmark progress and success.


You’ll be an advocate for the importance of a robust UCD approach, helping to inspire your colleagues and raise the quality of our audience’s engagement.

Requirements

We're looking for someone who most essentially has:

  • Good experience designing user interfaces and interactions for mobile and web applications from concepts through to wireframes and prototypes

  • Experience designing for iOS and/or Android encompassing native UI and interaction patterns. Knowing when to follow the rules and when to break them

  • Strong understanding of interaction design, UX & UI principles, information architecture, processes and best practices

  • Experience of different types of research techniques and how each is applicable to various stages of the design process

  • Experience using analytics data to inform design decisions

  • Experience of various user testing methods in validating designs pre and post launch and how these results can inform the next product iteration

  • Results-driven, able to initiate projects; work autonomously and multi-task in a

  • fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Passionate about simplification and creating intuitive, immersive experiences

  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and well-suited to design quickly, innovate and iterate

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • The ability to think at a high level about the product strategy and vision (not just ‘how it should look’ but ‘what we should build’)

  • Ability to thoughtfully rationalize your design decisions taking into account technical limitations and business priorities

  • Love being part of and contributing to an enthusiastic team with varied backgrounds and skills

It's a bonus if you:

  • Have knowledge of design systems and how they can underpin product design

  • Have an interest in fashion/ Knowledge of the fashion industry and fashion trends
