The Role

We are looking for a UX Researcher with a deep knowledge of human behavior and user centred design. You will collaborate closely with product owners, designers and developers to create meaningful experiences and engaging interfaces using data from both qualitative and quantitative sources. You will provide data-driven, actionable, predictive, strategic and transformational insights about our users; and help us deliver a world-class product.

What you’ll be doing

  • Working closely with product teams to identify research initiatives

  • Diagnosing usage data and business requests and instigating the right research to uncover relevant insights that genuinely influence direction

  • Designing hypotheses and leading studies that examine both user behaviour and attitudes

  • Generating actionable insights that both fuel ideation and evaluate product experiences

  • Conducting research using a wide variety of qualitative methods and a subset of quantitative methods, such as surveys

  • Communicating results and illustrating suggestions in compelling and creative ways

  • Running user tests in both formal and informal settings. You should be comfortable in a lab as well as stopping people in the street for quick feedback or setting up remote tests.

Requirements

Who you are

  • Degree level or above in human behavior related field (HCI, Psychology, etc.).

  • 3+ years experience in applied product research.

  • Command of a broad set of qualitative and user-centered design methods.

  • Knowledgeable in user-centred design practices

  • Good understanding of quantitative, behavioral analysis and statistical concepts.

  • Strong communicator and facilitator. You’re able to tell a story so your audience will want to listen to and zoom into detail when needed to help solutions come to life

  • Flexible in your approach and embrace a challenge; you might need to come up with new ways of answering research questions quickly and communicating the results in a memorable, impactful way

  • Familiar with native platform behaviour and patterns within apps
